Let’s meet

Twenty minutes, from each kitchen.

The eight chairs at our table fill quickly, and we hold them with care. Before you commit to spending a week with us, we would rather you spend twenty minutes with us first.

We are inviting you into our home. We host eight people at a time, and the eight people we host together affect each other’s week. So we are careful about it. A short video call costs nothing. It is not a sales call — there is nothing to sign. It is two people meeting two people, before two people travel to spend a week in their home.

Not ready to write yet?

Take it home with you.

Many of the people who write to us are not deciding alone. They are deciding with a partner, a friend, a sister. So we put everything — the five days, the wine, the food, the region, the price, the dates — into a brochure you can read together.

Print it. Forward it. Stick it on the fridge until the timing is right. Then write to me when you are ready.

What happens next

No pressure. No rush. Just a conversation.

You write to me

A short email or WhatsApp message — whatever feels easiest. Tell me a little about yourself: where you are from, what dates might work, who would be coming with you, anything you want me to know before we talk.

I write back personally

Usually within a day or two — even across time zones. I will answer your questions and ask a few of my own. We will set up a short video call — twenty minutes, from each kitchen — if that feels right to both of us.

When you are ready

If we are right for each other, we hold your dates with a small deposit. The remaining balance is due ninety days before arrival. If we are not the right fit, I will say so and recommend something better suited.

    2026 tour dates

    April 14–18 · May 12–16 · September 15–19 · October 13–17

Groups are limited to eight. Once a date is full, it is full.

Looking ahead to 2027? Many of our guests plan twelve to eighteen months in advance. The 2027 dates will open in summer 2026 — write to me to be on the small list of people I notify first.

Traveling with a group of four or more? We arrange a small number of custom private tours each year. The eight chairs can be yours alone, on dates that fit your calendar.

    The full cancellation policy

Things happen. Here is how we handle it.

We have been hosting for twenty years and we have seen every kind of life event interrupt every kind of plan. We are flexible, within reason, and we will be transparent at every step about what we can recover and what we cannot.

If you cancel more than 90 days before arrival

We refund what you have paid, less the small non-refundable booking fee and any unrecoverable costs (a deposit at the hotel, a winemaker’s reservation, a guide’s commitment). We will be transparent about what those are.

Between 60 and 90 days before arrival

We refund 50% of what you have paid, less the booking fee and unrecoverable costs.

Between 30 and 60 days before arrival

We refund 40% of what you have paid, less the booking fee and unrecoverable costs.

    Within 30 days of arrival

We cannot refund. By that point we have committed the budget on your behalf — to the hotel, the wineries, the producers, and the guides.

We ask all guests to carry travel insurance. It is the right protection for both of us. If something happens — illness, family emergency, a flight that does not happen — insurance is what gives you back what we cannot.

If your situation has changed and you need to cancel, write to me. We will treat it the way we treat everything: with care, with conversation, and with an honest accounting of what we can do.

    Looking forward to meeting you.

    A presto, Chicca
